Leading the cast are Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Pascal will play Joel, a grizzled survivor who is tasked with protecting 14-year-old Ellie (Ramsey) while they travel the dangerous post-apocalyptic world together.
Joel is being played by Pascal in the show, and he’s a character fans of the game know well. He’s a rugged yet protective father figure who will go to any lengths to keep Ellie safe. Pascal certainly has the chops to bring this complex character to life, and we’re his work in GoT was any indication, he’s sure to deliver a powerful and gripping performance.
Speaking of Ellie, the teenage girl who co-stars alongside Joel has been made by young Ramsey. At just 15-years-old, Ramsey is an experienced and talented young actress, having made waves for her performance as Lyanna Mormont in Game of Thrones.
