Fans in Japan Will Have One More Sleepless Night Today

Japanese football fans are excited to watch the square-off between Japan and Croatia today at 15:00 GMT at Al Janoub Stadium, Al-Wakrah, Qatar.

A square-off between Japan vs. Croatia will occur today at 15:00 GMT, i.e., midnight in Japan. Japanese football fans will likely sacrifice their sleep to witness their team play and will be stuck to the screen past 3 a.m. for the match held at Al Janoub Stadium in Al-Wakrah, Qatar.

The victory against Spain and Germany has created excitement among the fans, and they are thrilled to watch the upcoming face-off, for which they are prepared for a sleepless night. Japan progressed three times in the group stage in their previous tournaments and entered the round of 16. However, they never progressed beyond the last 16 stages.

The incredible victory over Spain and Germany has built a strong hope among the fans that the Japanese football team will defeat its opponents today as well. The Japanese fan Takuro Shinmyozu praises Hajime Moriyasu and Ritsu Doan, who made a difference in the match and also gave credit to the winger SC Freiburg for scoring twice, which helped Japan overcome Germany and Spain.

Shinmyozu gave credit to the disciplined strategy of the Japanese team, which helped them to take victory over both countries, and also added that although Doan is the finest player, he needs to focus on improving his behavior. As per the FIFA rankings for 2022, Germany has the 11th rank, while Spain holds the 7th rank. Even though both teams were more talented and had more potential than Japan, they defended their attacks and responded in the second half with well-thought-out game plans.

Shinmyozu is very surprised with the team’s performance and admitted he went to sleep when the team was at 1-0 against Germany in their World Cup opener, but when he woke up, he realized that he had missed the most exciting part of the game.

Another Japanese football fan, Yoichi Tominanga, felt that the team’s performance in Qatar would ensure that the team would play well in the future. There has been a slight change in the behavior of the Japanese team. They have gained confidence and are not afraid of any strong nation like Germany, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, or France. After watching the game, the Japanese crowd also gained hope that they could beat those strong teams and earn the nation’s respect.
