Akkineni Nagarjuna is an Indian actor, television presenter, and producer who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has acted in over ninety films as an actor in a lead, supporting, and cameo roles, including Bollywood and Tamil films. Nagarjuna is also the owner of the production company Annapurna Studios and the president of the non-profit film school Annapurna International School of Film and Media based in Hyderabad.
Nagarjuna was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu on 29th August 1959. He is the second son of the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his wife Annapurna Akkineni. He has two brothers, Sumanth and Venkat, and a sister, Naga Susheela. He completed his schooling at Hyderabad Public School and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Little Flower Junior College, Hyderabad.
